All the Juice: West 18th Street Fashion Show
Kansas City, Missouri. A projected light and color installation for the West 18th Street Fashion Show, with 3Minc and McCownGordon.
3Minc's designs drew on the colors and patterns of 1960s counterculture and asked the audience to sit back, relax and flourish. Pendulum's brief was the room around them.
The installation mixes color, light and reflective materials to create the illusion of looking into the future. All the Juice is a multi dimensional psychedelic trip, an ever changing cadence of projected images, colors and lights filling the background and washing across the runway.
A fashion show is a single night with a fixed budget and no second chance. Projection and reflection buy scale that built scenery cannot, and they strike in hours rather than days.
